北京時間9月27日 ，韩主據韓國媒體“moneytoday”報道 ，帅谈适在韓國隊公布的李刚10月份世預賽大名單當中，目前效力於馬略卡的仁无20歲新秀李剛仁落選，主帥保羅-本托解釋了李剛仁落選的名单原因 。
李剛仁本賽季加盟馬洛卡 ，无法位置他在上周中對陣皇馬的场上比賽中首發出場並打進處子球 ，隨後在對陣奧薩蘇納的更多比賽中也獲得了首發機會 ，然而此次韓國隊在世預賽12強賽的韩主大名單當中卻沒有他 。
在宣布韓國國家隊對陣敘利亞和伊朗隊名單的帅谈适網上新聞發布會上 ，保羅-本托表示 ：“李剛仁在最近兩場對陣皇馬和奧薩蘇納的李刚比賽中確實表現不錯，但是仁无如果你看入選名單 ，可以看到和他相同位置的名单球員。而且，无法位置入選的场上球員必須能夠使用不同的位置 。李剛仁表現不錯是真的 ，很多球員可能不如他最近狀態火熱 ，但是可以打一個以上的場上位置 。”
此次韓國隊征召名單中的前腰包括李東炅（蔚山現代）、權昶勳（水原三星）和李在城（美因茨05） 。
當地時間10月份的兩場12強賽當中 ，韓國隊將會先後對陣敘利亞和伊朗 。
