以俄羅斯足球界目前的處境 ，申辦歐洲杯成功的可能性微乎其微 。俄羅斯如今這種做法，更像是官方表明一種態度 ，那就是絕對不向歐足聯、不向國際足聯屈服 ，絕對不認可因為政治原因而導致體育方麵遭遇製裁的做法 。
