歐洲杯1/8決賽，法國點球大戰不敵瑞士 ，也内被淘汰出局 。讧曝作為世界杯冠軍 ，拉比法國隊無疑是奥特本屆歐洲杯的奪冠大熱門 。但在開賽前，母亲法國隊內的其球氛圍就有些微妙 ，吉魯公開抱怨鋒線上隊友不傳球 ，人争而姆巴佩甚至差點就要專門開發布會回懟 。场外吵好在德尚及時出麵製止，也内事態才沒有擴大。讧曝
法國出局後 ，拉比主帥德尚 ，奥特還有姆巴佩 、母亲博格巴等球員都遭到了媒體的其球批評 。而在家屬團裏麵 ，也出現了一些風波 。據法國媒體RMC報道 ，在家屬團觀看完比賽之後，拉比奧的母親韋羅妮克情緒激動，並與博格巴 、姆巴佩的家人發生了爭吵。
據悉 ，韋羅妮克指責博格巴對法國的第三粒丟球負有責任（失球前博格巴腳下球被斷） ，並向姆巴佩的父親說道 ，“你好好管教一下你兒子 ，讓他別那麽自大 。”在場的其他家屬團成員 ，都對韋羅妮克的行為感到震驚 。
