The next version of Apple's desktop operating system, macOS High Sierra, will launch on Sept 25, Apple unveiled on Tuesday.
Originally announced during Apple's WWDC event in June and released as beta later that month, the new OS is more of a refinement than a revolutionary upgrade of Sierra.

Other improvements include upgrade to Photos with a focus on editing, a revamped Safari with better privacy protection, smarter Siri, a new, Spotlight-friendly Mail and an expanded Sidebar. Check out all the improvements over at Apple's High Sierra site.
Apple's macOS High Sierra will be a free upgrade when it launches on Sept. 25.
