水慶霞14日特別進行澄清說明：“我在上海不是水庆沒房子住 ，而是霞澄現在我們家的住房是拆遷過渡臨時居住，麵積確實不大 。清上所以，房只房央視采訪我時說到新年願望，暂住我當時就期待將來我們家的拆迁房子能大一些 。”
水慶霞表示 ：“感謝廣大球迷和網友對我們中國女足的过渡關心和愛護 ，也感謝大家對我的水庆支持 ，希望廣大球迷和網友不要誤解 ，期待大家更多關心我們這個團隊 ，繼續給鏗鏘玫瑰加油打氣 。”
