北京時間4月28日 ，據英國《泰晤士報》的物浦消息 ，在克洛普表示他願意繼續留在安菲爾德後 ，准备执教利物浦正尋求加速談判以延長與他的克洛合同 。克洛普與利物浦的谈续現有合同將於2024年到期 。
昨日 ，约说芬威體育集團(利物浦的服再所有者)的總裁麥克-戈登專程從美國飛到英格蘭觀看周三對陣比利亞雷亞爾的歐冠半決賽 ，而他此行的曝利普商最大目的就是與主帥克洛普商討新合同 。
克洛普的物浦合同將在兩年後到期 ，但他最近表示 ，准备执教是克洛否繼續留在默西塞德郡取決於他是否有精力繼續執教 。他承認 ，谈续上個賽季的约说事件讓他精疲力竭 ，然而自去年夏天以來 ，服再他已經恢複了活力 ，曝利普商對於執教利物浦再次充滿動力 。
