北京時間5月4日晚18點 ，李霄2021賽季中超聯賽第三輪繼續進行 ，鹏武長春亞泰對陣武漢隊。汉队上半場比賽 ，踢得泰第13分鍾譚龍進球被吹越位；下半場比賽 ，不亚第60分鍾譚龍勁射被撲出 ，非运第63分鍾譚龍抽射中柱 ，气好最終長春亞泰0-0戰平武漢隊。输球
賽後武漢隊主帥李霄鵬談道 ：“今天所有上場的李霄球員都是玩了命了 ，但是鹏武我們表現的確實沒有亞泰好 ，需要回去之後好好的汉队總結和訓練 。如果今天不是踢得泰運氣的話 ，我們會是不亚輸球的一方 。”
對於本場比賽MVP ，非运李霄鵬並未作出特別表揚 ，气好而是說 ：“對於他來說是正常發揮 ，畢竟是國家隊的成員 。”
雖然未能贏球 ，但李霄鵬還是對弟子們進行了鼓勵 ：“我和隊員說的是 ，我們肯定會越來越好 ，我們現在身體和整體都不在最佳狀態 ，我們肯定會越來越好 ，我也相信隊員通過努力之後會越來越好。”
