3月15日 ，申花上海申花足球俱樂部舉行了新援見麵會 ，新援选择並公布他們新賽季球衣號碼 。球衣吳曦將身披12號球衣、号码号租借加盟的公布阿德裏安將身穿9號球衣，這件球衣原主人是吴曦楊旭 、巴索戈拿到17號球衣 ，德里外援約尼奇則接過已經離隊的安号沙拉維的22號球衣 。
談到為何選擇12號球衣 ，申花吳曦表示是新援选择因為兩個孩子都是12號出生 ，而且結婚紀念日也是球衣12號 。
對於最終選擇申花的号码号原因 ，吳曦表示 ：“選擇加盟申花，公布是吴曦因為我是一個喜歡安定 ，不喜歡折騰的德里人 ，我也是一個重感情的人。江蘇出問題之後 ，第一時間吳總和周總就與我取得聯係 ，我也非常感謝，有過第一次加盟的情感在 ，促使我最終回歸申花 。”
