北京時間6月4日晚 ，官方归负西甲皇家馬德裏俱樂部官方宣布 ，皇马任命安東尼奧-平圖斯擔任一線隊體能總教練 ，宣布並負責俱樂部所有球隊的平图體能訓練方法 。
平圖斯在2016-2019年期間曾擔任皇馬的有球體能教練 。在此期間 ，队体銀河戰艦奪得過兩次歐冠冠軍 、官方归负三次世俱杯冠軍 、皇马兩次歐洲超級杯冠軍 、宣布以及一次西甲冠軍 。平图可以說，有球正是队体有了平圖斯 ，皇馬在下半程衝刺期的官方归负體能得以保證 ，是皇马銀河戰艦完成歐冠三連冠的最大功臣之一 。
2019年7月 ，宣布平圖斯選擇離開皇馬加入國米，本賽季又幫助國米拿到了11年來的首個意甲聯賽冠軍 。而缺少了平圖斯的皇馬 ，過去兩個賽季則步履維艱 ，隊內出現了大量的肌肉傷病情況 ，受傷人次遠遠高於此前的數個賽季 ，也為皇馬本賽季的四大皆空埋下了伏筆。
在職業生涯中 ，平圖斯一直負責球隊的體能訓練，除了皇馬和國米之外 ，還曾任職於尤文圖斯 、切爾西 、烏迪內斯、摩納哥等球隊 。
