Never let anyone tell you you're going too hard in a pickup basketball game; your efforts might land you a phone call from Michael Jordan.
That's what happened to Jeffrey Harrison, the man featured in the viral video of a pickup basketball game wearing a full Jordan uniform back in July. When Michael Jordan learned of Harrison's story, the former Bull sent one of his biggest fans two boxes of gear and spoke to him on the phone.

Harrison, a 33-year-old man with autism, is clearly a skilled defender and a big fan of Jordan. His Airness learned of Harrison after a reporter contacted his manager.
Jordan's response was to send Harrison a personal letter along with two boxes of gear, including multiple pairs of sneakers and shorts.

"I hope you enjoy your stuff and I'm gonna be watching for you, okay?" Jordan says on the call.
According to reporter Darnay Tripp, the idea was completely Jordan's.
The gifts, the letter, the phone call, it was all Michael Jordan's idea. He wanted to do something special for Jeffrey. Man, did he ever...

The only thing left is to see if Harrison's shutdown defense can stand the test of MJ himself.
