哈維還拿一係列的年问题高齡巨星舉例 ，其中就包括了梅西和C羅 ，龄不C罗例“球員們對自己照顧得很好，梅西他們更具有職業性了 。阿爾維斯、伊布拉希莫維奇 、莫德裏奇 、C羅或者梅西 ，他們都是例子 。”
此外 ，巴薩中場德容 ，目前風傳有可能離隊，哈維表示 ：“我說過很多次 ，弗蘭基（德容）非常重要 ，他是一名關鍵球員 。然而，這其中同樣有俱樂部的財政情況 ，而這同樣需要被決定 。我不是在談論弗蘭基 ，而是在說整體上的情況 。”
