Former Smallville actress Allison Mack is about to be tried in court for alleged sex trafficking, and it looks like she tried to recruit Emma Watson as well. Business Insider dug up several tweets in which Mack asks Watson to "chat" about her "women's movement."
Watson did not respond.

In detailing the allegations against Mack, The Hollywood Reporter shared a statement from the office of the U.S. Attorney that she was one of the top-ranking individuals in alleged sex cult NXIVM and had "slaves" reporting to her for sexual activity with the leader.
Watson is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, launched HeForShe, and engages in regular, public social advocacy for feminism and its tenets. Mack's audacity is truly something.
Mack is scheduled for court proceedings starting May 3.
