搜狐體育消息 ，北京時間4月22日 ，中日韓國《朝鮮日報》在談到韓國足球的办世發展時指出 ，未來中 、界杯日 、选择韓三國聯合舉辦一屆擴軍後的韩媒韩联合举世界杯 ，是中日一個不錯的選擇 。
同時文章提議 ，办世“無論是界杯韓國單獨舉辦世界杯 ，還是选择中日韓聯合舉辦一屆有48支參賽隊的世界杯 ，都是韩媒韩联合举不錯的選擇 。”
此前 ，中日國際足聯主席因凡蒂諾曾表示 ，办世單個國家舉辦世界杯或將成為過去 ，界杯因為多國聯合舉辦可以“確保可持續性”，选择這是全球目前倡導的一種趨勢 。
這樣的方式也在一定程度上緩解了一個國家單獨舉辦世界杯的壓力 ，尤其是未來世界杯從32支隊伍擴軍至48支隊伍後 。
