The man found "not guilty" in the lengthy "Tinder murder" trial of 26-year-old Warriena Wright has agreed to give an exclusive interview with Australia's 60 Minutes, reportedly worth six figures.

With previews from 30-year-old Gable Tostee's TV special hitting the internet over the weekend, many online commentators are pledging to boycott the episode, highlighting its apparent seedy vibes and "disrespect" shown to the Wright family.

The interview comes after the bodybuilding-obsessed Tostee was acquitted of manslaughter in the troubling case and has seemingly returned to regular life. He was recently featured on a Queensland cafe's Facebook page under the pseudonym Eric Thomas, after drinking a 5 litre (1.3 gallon) 'Godfather Gangster Shake' in less than 14 minutes.

Reportedly airing on Nov. 13, Tostee's interview seems to go over all aspects of the case, including playing back the traumatic audio recordings from the night the New Zealand tourist Wright lost her life, falling to her death from Tostee's balcony after being locked outside.

"I restrained her to stop her from attacking me. I don't know what else to do. I wanted it to stop," Tostee says in the preview, while the interviewer recounts the 33 times Wright said "no."

Comments on social media have largely been negative, with 60 Minutes'Facebook page including statements from viewers like "Stay classy 60 Minutes. Gable Tostee interview and you pay him a six figure amount. I am sure that Warriena Wright's family are disgusted at your lack of sensitivity for a man that many feel got away with manslaughter."

Other comments read, "I don't believe he is legally guilty of murder. But I do find it disgusting that you are reopening this story. The court case is over. Let the public move on. Tabloid journalism at its worst."

Still other comments read, "He has a very low IQ which prevents him from assessing the situation like many others would have. He thought that locking her on the balcony was the best solution."

We dare say this is the case that will have Australia, and the world, talking for a long time.
