北京時間8月12日晚，年金内马金足獎官方公布了2021年度的足奖十大候選人，梅西強勢領跑。候选球迷們如今可以去金足獎官網進行投票 ，名单梅西最終結果將會在2021年11月9日出爐 。领衔莱万
金足獎是尔列個終身成就獎類型的獎項 ，這一獎項創立於2003年 。年金内马有資格參與評選的足奖 ，必須是候选年滿29歲的現役球員 。近幾年來 ，名单梅西這一標準被降低到了年滿28歲 。领衔莱万此前獲得過這一獎項的尔列球員 ，將不會再得到提名 。年金内马
在本次獲得提名的足奖10人中，有4人在今夏進行了轉會 。候选在金足獎官方宣傳照上，這4名球員卻還穿著老東家戰袍。梅西 、拉莫斯、阿圭羅和盧卡庫目前分別屬於巴黎、巴黎 、巴薩和切爾西，他們在這張宣傳照上分別穿著巴薩、皇馬 、曼城和國米球衣 。
