As a kid, there was nothing more thrilling than a Happy Meal. Sure, the nuggets and fries were delicious. But what took it over the top? The toy. The freakingtoy.
You never knew exactly what you were going to get, but you were sure as hell going to get a toy — and that ruled.
Well, now you can revisit that feeling as an adult. Today (Oct. 4), McDonald's announced a new menu item: a Happy Meal for adults. OK, so it's not technically called an adult Happy Meal but is absolutely an adult Happy Meal. It has a toy and everything.

"Everyone remembers their first Happy Meal® as a kid... and the can’t-sit-still feeling as you dug in to see what was inside," the company said via a press release. "That little red box could turn a regular Tuesday into the best. day. ever. And now, we’re reimagining that experience in a whole new way — this time, for adults."
The adult Happy Meal comes with either a Big Mac or 10-piece nuggets, fries, and drink. You'll also get a collectible toy of either Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, or Cactus Buddy. Their faces are cool and distorted, you know, since we're all adults here.

There's also merch, like hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts for sale. If you order one of the boxes through the app, you'll automatically get entered in a merch giveaway.
It's a limited-time release, so it might not be around forever. You can buy it in-restaurant, at the drive-thru, for delivery, or on the McDonald’s App
