北京時間5月3日 ，西媒據西班牙媒體《世界體育報》報道，巴萨本人巴薩希望在今夏補強防線，欲引愿加他們有意的进切兩名切爾西球員馬科斯-阿隆索和阿斯皮利奎塔都願意加盟 。
馬科斯-阿隆索和阿斯皮利奎塔與切爾西的尔西合同都到明夏到期，但兩人都希望今夏離隊 ，铁闸他們願意去巴薩踢球 。西媒巴薩對阿斯皮利奎塔的巴萨本人興趣由來已久 ，他們看中球員的欲引愿加防守能力 、領袖氣質和多麵手屬性 ，进切他們願意支付不高的尔西轉會費簽下阿斯皮利奎塔 。
不過目前的铁闸問題是 ，切爾西在阿布拉莫維奇離開後還沒有明確的西媒領導團隊 ，而阿斯皮利奎塔是巴萨本人球隊的隊長 ，從這個層麵說 ，欲引愿加他有道德義務在俱樂部權力出現真空和困難的情況下做出表率 。
阿隆索此前也多次與巴薩傳出轉會傳聞 ，球員有意今夏回到西班牙踢球，巴薩在2021年1月曾接近租借阿隆索 ，但最終沒有成功 。如今巴薩希望阿隆索可以補強球隊的左後衛位置 ，也希望切爾西可以低價放人。
