巴索戈出戰世界杯 ，巴索對於申花而言無疑是梦世一個意外的驚喜 ，雖然將會對球隊征戰中超造成一定的界杯影響 ，但申花俱樂部也將獲得國際足聯的日启高額賠償金 ，根據國際足聯相關規定 ，世界杯期間，FIFA將按照“實際參賽天數” ，為所有運動員所屬俱樂部提供補貼，參賽天數計算方法為 ，從國際足聯官方準備期（世界杯賽前一周）開始，直到運動員所在球隊被淘汰的次日為止 。在此期間 ，每名運動員每天將獲得1萬美元的補助 。
巴索戈從11月13日開始參加喀麥隆國家隊集訓 ，按照賽程 ，12月3日 ，喀麥隆將在小組賽最後一輪對陣巴西隊 。這期間的21天 ，申花總共能從國際足聯申請到21萬美元的球員補助 ，折合人民幣將近150萬 。
