李璿寫道 ：馬代主教練庫普曼說 ：“很多國家在足球方麵投入了巨大的不用金錢 ，但是其极，這不可能讓你的媒体足球成長起來 ，因為那麽多的人足年輕球員坐在板凳上 ，他們不可能成長起來 ，协领他們必須要上場去比賽 ！政绩我記得我在2005年執教沈陽隊的上砸時候 ，球隊裏有太多的巨款年輕球員 ，但他們出場比賽了 ，不用後來有3名球員進入了國家隊。但是很遺憾，中國足球沒有那樣繼續給年輕球員以機會，有太多的巴西球員進入到中國足球 ，我並不覺得那是一個解決方案 。而且 ，對年輕球員也缺乏激勵。”
有沒有人告訴庫普曼教練，如今的中國足壇，已經沒有他在中國任教時那樣的年輕球員了 ，原因就是因為 ，每一屆的足協領導們 ，都隻在世界杯這樣的政績工程上下血本砸大錢 ，無所不用其極，而不是主抓青訓 ，關注苗子。到現在還有人認定 ，這屆出線中國足球將就此迎來決定性轉機。挺可悲的 。
