On Monday, the New York Timesreported on a new study in the journal Nature Astronomy, which found a possible sign of life on Venus. The study says that phosphine — a gas that is made by microbial life on Earth — was detected in the planet's atmosphere, which essentially means therecould belife on the planet.

Though the presence of phosphine in the planet’s atmosphere doesn't definitivelymean lifeforms are chilling in the clouds of Venus, researchers have yet to find another explanation. So the experts are genuinely considering aliens at this point.
