If you lose your wallet in a busy city like London, your chances of seeing it again probably aren't great.

Yep, a man called Simon used the 18-character references you can send with an online bank transfer to let Cameron know he'd found his wallet. Cameron explained to Mashable that his sort code and account number are listed on his bank card, which was all the information Simon needed to send the 1p transfers.

He called the number Simon had sent him, got his address, and then rode his bike round with a bottle of red wine to pick up the wallet and thank his hero.
