中超第14輪 ，天津津門虎將迎戰上海申花 ，伟国賽前津門虎主帥於根偉表示 ：“經過最近兩場苦戰 ，安申隊員體能方麵消耗非常大 ，花海這兩天主要還是港都身體的恢複 ，這種密集的争冠状态賽程 ，特別是队们调整踢完7場比賽 ，絕大多數的于根主力球員沒有休息，這對任何球隊都非常困難。伟国前幾場比賽也在個別位置做過針對性的安申輪換，我們要調整狀態 ，花海恢複體能，港都根據現狀把技戰術更合理化 ，争冠状态爭取能夠打好這場比賽。队们调整”
談到上場勝利和球隊的于根內部挖潛 ，於根偉說 ：“對於我們這支球隊 ，我一直在強調內部挖潛 ，也沒有其他的辦法 ，組隊比較晚也比較倉促，球員的引進和組織不是常規的狀況 ，所以我們隻能靠內部挖潛 ，靠我們現有的隊員 ，能利用更合理更有效的技戰術來應對每一個對手 。”
對於連續麵對國安和上海雙雄 ，於根偉指出：“北京國安 、上海申花和上海海港這三支爭冠的球隊實力非常強 ，但足球比賽就是這樣，一切皆有可能 。希望球員能擺正位置，調整好狀態 ，以最積極飽滿的狀態應對每一場比賽 ，把每場比賽的過程完成好 ，我相信結果不會很差。”
