Dating sucks. To make it worse, now your love for a TV show may be used as a tactic to lure you into a relationship—and if you love Broad City, watch out.
As The Cut reported, Broad City writer and actress Ilana Glazer recently shared a story at a standup performance regarding a weird series of events: A friend of a friend of Glazer had recently reached out about a date who claimed to be a writer for the hit Comedy Central show.
Glazer quickly explained that all four writers (including co-star Abbi Jacobson) are women.
Apparently the two had met the man, who Glazer names, in 2014 as a fan and had taken a photo with him. Since then he's been using the picture to try and get laid -- the Woke Bae era brings a whole new set of traps in the game of love.
"He also said writing in the room this season was weak," she exclaimed. "Some girl is going to die and blood will be on our hands."
"Don't fuck a dude because he works on Broad City...," summed up Glazer. "Men are scary."
