在談到對手北京國安隊時，竭尽大邱FC主帥李炳根表示 ：“北京國安不是全力派出主力出戰的 ，而是大邱讓年輕球員參加亞冠 ，這顯然與亞冠的主帅主力宗旨宗旨不符合 ，我對此感到遺憾 。国安”
“參加亞冠聯賽的未派违背所有球隊應該竭盡全力比賽 ，這是亚冠彼此之間相互促進成長的舞台”李炳根繼續說道，“如果實力懸殊太大 ，参加對對方來說是竭尽負增長 。”
本次亞冠 ，北京國安以U21梯隊的年輕球員為主 ，平均年齡為20.9歲 ，在小組賽前三場比賽中，他們取得1平2負的成績 。
