The 2017 Golden Globe nominations were announced Monday morning, and the list was a nice mix of deserved surprises (Issa Rae! Donald Glover!), expected frontrunners (Hi, La La Land!) and even a WTF or two (Good for you, Nick Nolte!).
Some of the internet's favorite shows — such as Game of Thrones, Westworldand Stranger Things— all cleaned up on the television side. On the movie front, this list serves as a good primer for what to check out in theaters the next few months; Oscar frontrunners such as Manchester by the Sea, Moonlight, Lionand more all scored in multiple film categories.
All that, and Jonah Hill even managed to snag a nom for War Dogs!Oh, Golden Globes. You're always such a random treat.
