It might sound like a tired trope from a '70s television show, but somehow this koala and dog got trapped at the bottom of an abandoned mineshaft. 。

Yes, these things still really do happen. The mine, located in Ipswich, Australia, was attended to by firefighters and the RSPCA on Monday after yelps from the dog were heard.
