Warning: Contains stealthy spoilers for Game of ThronesSeason 7, episode 6.

Arya had so much potential for Season 7. Literally five minutes into the season she'd managed to wipe out the entire Frey family, and it looked like she was all set to start crossing the big hitters off her list nice and early.

Flash forward to episode 6, though, and it still hasn't happened. Now it looks like she's more likely to come to blows with her own sister than dispatch Cersei.

Then again, maybe not. Now that the dust has settled after Sunday's episode, more fans have been putting forward evidence for the same theory: that Arya is playing a much smarter game than anyone is giving her credit for.

Here's some evidence from Redditor ScienceMuddafucka that suggests Arya could be planning more than she's currently letting on:

That's an impressive collection of evidence. The more you think about it the more plausible the whole thing sounds, too.

Isn't it possible that Ayra's years of training have left her with the ability to outsmart even the cunning of Littlefinger?

Alan Taylor, the director of episode 6, also hinted that there could be a twist in store for the Arya/Sansa storyline.

"The idea is to build up the expectation as much as possible that one of them is going to die, and hopefully surprise people by what happens," he said.

If that isn't code for "they're definitely going to team up and kill Littlefinger in the finale", I don't know what is.
