北京時間8月22日，中国足协中國足協在皇冠假日酒店舉行媒體溝通會，李铁全麵介紹國足備戰12強賽的合同相關情況 。國管部部長陳永亮 、签约國足主帥李鐵和領隊張賀出席通氣會。到年
陳永亮介紹了與主教練李鐵的中国足协合同問題 ，陳永亮表示 ：“跟李鐵工作團隊簽訂的李铁合同是到2026年，到下一屆世界杯的合同工作合同 ，這一方麵是签约為了中國足球長期的穩定發展 ，第二也是到年基於對李鐵團隊的信任 。經曆了40強賽 ，中国足协不管球隊的李铁技戰術打法 ，球員在場上的合同表現，應該說 ，签约教練團隊大家有目共睹，到年對於教練員的能力 ，有了進一步的認識 。這也是協會領導對於李鐵團隊的認可。”
對於在合同期間出現問題 ，如何解決的問題 ，陳永亮表示 ：“不管男足國家隊 ，還是其他年齡段梯隊 ，都會有年度評估 ，成績不是唯一的標準 。還包括團隊建設 ，熱身賽 ，友誼賽等等具體表現 ，隊員的精神狀態 ，還有整個隊伍是否能夠形成穩定的技戰術打法。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
