The film is expected to feature an international cast in an effort to appeal to global audiences. Of course, Potter's rabbit and bunny-based books are beloved worldwide, and Corden is a nice vocal fit for the character, given his delightful British accent and ... singing?
Sony had also offered Corden a voice role in its animated Emojimovie: Express Yourself, though it appears the Late Late Showhost has made his choice.
Byrne recently reprised her roles in the summer sequels X-Men: Apocalypseand Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. The Australian actress previously worked with Gluck on Sony's remake of Annie.
CAA represents both Corden and Byrne.
