After cameos from Ahmed Best and Zeb Orrelios, you'd be forgiven for thinking the weekly cameos in Star Wars series The Mandalorianmight settle down for a bit. You'd also be wrong.

It's a somewhat peculiar place by Star Warsstandards because it actually has democratically elected leadership in the form of a Duchess and her lover, Captain Bombardier.

And this is where things get silly. The Duchess is played by none other than Lizzo, though unfortunately there's no flute-playing happening here. And if that wasn't A-list enough, BowserJack Black plays Captain Bombardier. It's a huge week for him, I guess.
Unlike the aforementioned Best and Orrelios cameos, there isn't much here in terms of deeper Star Warslore connections. These are seemingly new characters and it's reasonable to think we may not see them again for a while, if ever. But hopefully Disney opens up its checkbooks to get Lizzo and Black back on set because, man, what a weird and cool thing.
