北京時間4月19日淩晨，歐洲足壇一個重磅消息出爐 ，生欧身无12支歐洲頂級豪門宣布成立歐洲超級聯賽 ，超足而這項賽事將會由俱樂部自己進行管理 ，球本每周的只为赚钱周中進行。起始的韩乔12支球隊分別是AC米蘭 、阿森納、生欧身无馬競 、超足切爾西 、球本巴薩、只为赚钱國米 、韩乔尤文、生欧身无利物浦 、超足曼城 、球本曼聯 、只为赚钱皇馬和熱刺 ，預計在初始賽季開始前還會有另外3家俱樂部加入 。
名嘴韓喬生在社交媒體上點評道 ：“歐洲足壇出現“大地震” 。12家歐洲豪門足球俱樂部宣布“自立門戶” ，創立歐洲超級聯賽——他們是皇馬 、巴薩、馬競 、曼聯、曼城 、利物浦 、阿森納 、切爾西 、熱刺 、尤文圖斯 、AC米蘭 、國際米蘭 。並且 ，不隻是這12支初始成立俱樂部 ，預計在賽季開始前 ，還會有另外三家俱樂部加入 。”
“新賽季從8月開始 ，俱樂部分為兩組，每組10隊 ，進行兩回合比賽 。每組前三名進入八強 ，第四 、五名通過附加賽決出另外兩個八強席位 ，隨後進行兩回合的淘汰賽 。決賽為單回合製，於5月底在中立場進行。第一屆主席由皇馬主席弗洛倫蒂諾擔任，曼聯老板格雷澤 、尤文圖斯老板阿涅利任副主席 。這個聯賽早在幾年前就開始密謀了 ，是一個與足球本身無關 ，隻為賺錢的項目 。”
