Perhaps the brand harbors resentment after Silmane sent a squad of funky '80s prom queens down the Paris runway in March. Many viewed the heavily themed collection as the designer's final "F you" or spiteful swan song.
After Saint Laurent announced Anthony Vaccarello as Silamane's replacement earlier this week, the brand wiped its official Instagram account completely clean, except for an image of its new leader.

It's clear the high end fashion house is ready for a new direction and would rather forget its most recent history.
