Twitter blocked verified users from tweeting in an effort to curb a site-wide hack, and unverified accounts are rising up.
The hack affected accounts with massive followings, like former President Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Kanye West, and more. The scammers behind the attack managed to receive over $50,000 in bitcoin transfers.
In response, Twitter announced that users may be "unable to Tweet" while they address the "security incident."

As a verified user myself, all I can say is that I'm glad someone took away my ability to tweet. I needed that.
