1月13日 ，新赛亞足聯官方發布2022賽季的季亚集中亞冠競賽日程表 ，東西亞賽區都將采用雙循環的冠月广州賽會製方式進行 。
東亞區小組賽從4月15日至5月1日進行 ，开打16強賽、队落档1/4決賽和半決賽均為單場淘汰賽 。入第亞冠決賽為兩回合比賽，新赛2023年2月19日在西亞區進行首回合 ，季亚集中2月26日在東亞區進行次回合 。冠月广州目前舉辦地尚未敲定。开打
亞冠分組抽簽將在1月17日進行 。队落档山東泰山隊 、入第上海海港隊 、新赛廣州隊和長春亞泰隊將代表中國出戰2022年亞冠聯賽 ，季亚集中其中山東泰山隊與上海海港隊將以第一檔球隊的冠月广州身份參加抽簽 ，廣州隊落入第二檔 。
