此役葡萄牙將在布達佩斯對陣匈牙利 ，具备件而本場比賽的切条賽場普斯卡什競技場，是葡萄本屆歐洲杯唯一允許觀眾滿員入場的球場 。對此桑托斯認為 ，“匈牙利很有實力 ，尤其是中場和鋒線 ，他們會在開場後發動攻勢，會想辦法去讓現場的球迷高興 。我不認為對手會隻專注於防守 。”
