Setting up a livestream in 2016 is so easy, anyone can do it. 。
However, if you don't have anything interesting to show, maybe you shouldn't. 。
In what is possibly the most boring livestream of the year, a webcam focused on the town square of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, suddenly has thousands of viewers tuning in to watch the mundane video.。

According to Reddit, the stream's views increased when a 4chan user posted the video along with a goofy threat to go to Jackson Hole to appear on the live feed. Even though the post was deleted, it made its way to Reddit, where of course the internet started treating the monotonous stream as if it were an exciting, adventurous video.。

The joke has taken over the Jackson Hole subreddit, with silly posts such as “#RedTruck2016” "SHERIFF DABS" and "Report jaywalkers here," which links to Jackson Hole's crime stoppers page.。
Jackson Hole also set up a slew of other webcams around town, though none have taken off quite as much as the town square's stream. 。If Jackson Hole's residents ever need a witness when meeting up with a questionable Tinder date, they know where to go.。If Jackson Hole's residents ever need a witness when meeting up with a questionable Tinder date, they know where to go. 。
