曾經效力西甲球隊埃爾切的界打击去前西班牙好手Pelayo Novo ，過去因不慎墜樓導致下半身癱瘓，出名车撞好不容易以輪椅網球開啟職業生涯第二春，好手卻在昨（1）日於家鄉奧維耶多不幸遭到火車撞擊身亡，世球享年32歲 ，队美過去Novo曾效力的联社球隊奧維耶多 、埃爾切都發文哀悼 。波盈不幸
主打中場的Novo出身於奧維耶多青訓隊 ，2007年開始職業生涯 ，瘫痪堂前出賽218場踢進29顆球 ，网球雖然Novo曾經效力埃爾切6年 ，界打击去不過升入西甲的2個賽季裏，Novo又被租借回西乙球隊，因此生涯從未有效力頂級聯賽的紀錄。
2018年3月，Novo突然從一家酒店的3樓摔了下來 ，緊急送往醫院後雖然保住一命 ，但也因此造成下半身癱瘓 ，隻能在28歲時被迫提前退役，告別最心愛的足球 ，不過Novo並沒有失意太久 ，他開始接觸輪椅網球並愛上這項運動 ，甚至最高曾打到排名全國第12位，去年6月更和交往多年的女友共結連理。
西甲衛冕冠軍皇家馬德裏也發文深表敬意：「我們對於Novo的去世感到遺憾，並向他的家人及親友致上慰問之意 。」Novo在IG的最後一篇貼文是3個禮拜前慶祝奶奶百歲壽誕，如今卻得承受白髮人送黑髮人的傷痛 ，令人不勝唏噓 。
