《Yeon Viet》在報道中稱：“明年的请举亞洲杯可能會在越南而不是中國舉行 ，越南是办亚办赛符合亞足聯規定的候選國家之一 。亞足聯正在尋找一個新的洲杯证明亞洲杯主辦國，以取代放棄主辦權的年已能力中國 。並且這個國家需要滿足提前晉級正賽的越媒越南條件，以避免因東道國不參加亞洲杯預選賽的将申待遇而引發爭議 。
同時，请举越南媒體認為 ：“2007年越南還作為協辦國主辦了亞洲杯 。办亚办赛並且，洲杯证明做為那屆亞洲杯東南亞唯一晉級八強的年已能力國家 ，越南同時證明了自己的越媒越南國際辦賽能力和足球技術 。”（編輯 劉水土）
