北京時間2月22日 ，韩乔韓喬生在個人社交媒體上發文表達了自己對於國足剩餘12強賽的生国世界看法 。他表示 ，足已國足已經提前告別了世界杯 ，提前接下來的告别比賽成了榮譽之戰 ，不如多給年輕球員鍛煉的杯后機會 。
韓喬生寫道 ：“眾所周知 ，年轻國足已經提前兩輪告別了世界杯，韩乔接下來的生国世界比賽也成了榮譽之戰 。國足將會在2月24日完成14+7隔離 ，足已緊接著在3月3日就再次集結備戰 ，提前10號就出征阿聯酋備戰。告别即便國足全部取勝 ，杯后也無法再改變大局。年轻因此有不少球迷也在呼籲 ，韩乔中國隊在未來的比賽裏應該大膽啟用新人 ，不要再讓超過30歲的老將隨隊出征 。如果還是隻有阿蘭和洛國富 ，那就沒有征召歸化球員的必要 ，反正是輸 ，還不如把機會讓給年輕小將 。”
