LG's other, non-modular flagship, the LG V20, will start shipping in South Korea this week, the company has announced.
The launch in "key countries" in North America, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East will commence "over the course of the next several weeks." Europe is not mentioned in LG's amazingly vague press release.
SEE ALSO:The gimmicky LG V20 is the first Android Nougat smartphoneThe first Android Nougat smartphone on the market, the V20 has a strong set of specs: A Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM, a QuadHD screen (and a secondary screen on top), a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel selfie cam and a 32-bit Quad DAC audio chip.
While it's not as modular as the LG G5, the V20 does have one easily replaceable part: the battery, which can be accessed by removing the phone's metal back.
Exact price and date of availability will be announced for every market individually, LG said.
