We're in the final countdown to Apple's big event, but the rumors are still flying fast and furious.
After speculation and rumors that two of the iPhones would be named the "iPhone 11 Pro" and "iPhone 11 Pro Max," a new report from 9to5Mac claims that we're definitely getting a "Pro" — but the number will be left out of the names altogether.
Their source is Bloomberg's Marc Gurman, who tweeted out that his sources say the successors to the iPhone XS and XS Max will be called the iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max. The successor to the iPhone XR is still expected to be called the iPhone 11.

If this pans out, then it raises the question of what the nextiPhone Pro model will be called. iPhone Pro X? iPhone Pro XR? 2 iPhone 2 Pro? Who knows? Apple's naming schemes are always a bit baffling and we're already looking forward to next year's iPhone anyway.
We'll all find out together when Apple's big event goes live on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.
