6月30日下午，亚足亞足聯通過官網公布了卡塔爾世預賽亞洲區12強賽抽簽順序，联盛同時還給予張琳芃、赞中张琳蔣光太這對國足中衛組合較高評價。国队
12強賽抽簽分組儀式將於北京時間7月1日下午3點開始進行 ，后卫中國隊和伊拉克隊同為第4檔球隊 。芃关
規則顯示，键所蒋光抽簽將從第6檔球隊開始 ，太防塔被抽出的空炮第1顆和第2顆球分別放置在A組和B組 。各檔次球隊的亚足抽簽以此類推，直至全部6檔球隊被抽完 。联盛
12強賽將於2021年9月2日至2022年3月29日進行 。赞中张琳截止到目前 ，国队國際足聯與亞足聯仍維持主 、后卫客場製不變 。芃关根據規程 ，各小組前2名球隊直接晉級，各小組第3名之間的勝者獲得跨洲附加賽參賽資格 。
亞足聯通過官網展望12強賽時，特別提到了中國隊兩位後衛球員蔣光太與張琳芃 。對於張琳芃 ，亞足聯寫道 ：“世預賽2022暨2023亞洲杯預選賽第2階段 ，張琳芃代表中國隊出場7次 ，送出全隊最多的430次傳球 。在通往卡塔爾的路上 ，他依然是中國隊後場出球的關鍵所在 。”
對於蔣光太，亞足聯官方也評價道 ：“他是防空炮塔 ！在2022年世預賽暨2023亞洲杯預選賽第2階段期間 ，蔣光太的空中對抗成功率高達82.35% ，為中國隊之首 ，並且在所有參賽球員中也高居第4。”
