Alyssa Milano is holding Matt Damon accountable.
On Friday, the actress and activist tweeted a scathing open letter to Damon after his series of misguided-at-best comments on sexual misconduct in Hollywood.
During an interview with Peter Travers, Damon appeared to worry a little too much about the "culture of outrage" around men who abuse their power -- not on the damaged lives of their victims.
At one point, for example, he opined on Louis C.K.: "I imagine the price that he’s paid at this point is so beyond anything that he — I just think that we have to kind of start delineating between what these behaviors are," he said.
Milano refutes this point in her open letter, asserting that sexual misconduct of any severity is all part of the same "systemic disease" -- and that women's anger is more than justified.
"Dear Matt Damon, it's the micro that makes the macro," she wrote. "There are different stages of cancer. Some more treatable than others. But it’s still cancer."
