《太陽報》表示 ，即将加盟曼聯和多特仍在就一些細節問題進行談判，曼联主要就是费万附加條款的製定上 ，但這筆價值8000萬英鎊的桑乔交易已經接近尾聲 。桑喬將與曼聯簽下一份為期5年的已告合同，周薪為35萬英鎊 ，知狮转持平隊內的队友頂薪球員德赫亞 。
記者Tom McDermott透露 ，即将加盟桑喬已經向英格蘭隊友透露了自己即將加盟曼聯的曼联消息 ，並且該記者還補充道 ：“交易實際上已經完成了 ，费万所需要商談的桑乔附加條款也已經落實 。”
另據《The Athletic》的報道 ，兩家俱樂部之間還沒有完成交易 ，但距離達成協議已經相當接近。多特的要價起初在1億歐元左右 ，之後又降到9500萬歐元。而曼聯方麵的第一次報價為7800萬歐元 ，本周又送上了8500萬歐元的第二次報價 。《The Athletic》認為 ，最終的交易價格應該在9000萬歐元左右。
