《太陽報》表示，即将加盟曼聯和多特仍在就一些細節問題進行談判 ，曼联主要就是费万附加條款的製定上 ，但這筆價值8000萬英鎊的桑乔交易已經接近尾聲。桑喬將與曼聯簽下一份為期5年的已告合同 ，周薪為35萬英鎊 ，知狮转持平隊內的队友頂薪球員德赫亞 。
記者Tom McDermott透露 ，即将加盟桑喬已經向英格蘭隊友透露了自己即將加盟曼聯的曼联消息，並且該記者還補充道 ：“交易實際上已經完成了 ，费万所需要商談的桑乔附加條款也已經落實 。”
