At least Postmates thinks so. The food-and-other-stuff delivery startup is introducing e-gift cards on Thursday.。
The email-only gift cards are available at postmates.com/gift in increments of $25, $50, $100 or $200. You don't need to have a Postmates account to buy a gift card for someone who does. 。

Delivery for merchants not verified by Postmates can get expensive — one reason to give a gift card to someone who's reluctant to order on their own. 。
"Whether it’s coffee, a burrito, or even an American Apparel T-shirt, these gift cards can be used for anything, so sky's the limit," the company wrote in a blog post.。
Postmates has big ambitions despite reports of trouble within the company. The startup raised a whopping $140 million in October. 。
Postmates says gift cards have been the most-requested feature from users. Grubhub and Seamless started selling gift cards in October. 。
