In case Steve Bannon doesn't make it to the theater to catch a production of American Idiot, Green Day delivered their message directly to the Trump administration tonight.

The band was performing "Bang Bang" from their latest album, Revolution Radio. And while the track certainly doesn't give a thumbs up to the status-quo, the address to the president elect and the white nationalists he's taking to the White House with him are definitely new.
The performance was a breath of fresh air in a very mild-mannered awards show completely brushing over the country's current state of chaos.
Fortunately, Green Day showed up ready to do their job, and got it right.
