首先是认掩關於違約金的。西班牙媒體聲稱，哈兰皇马活瓜在哈蘭德的德违合同中，包含一項2024年生效的约金亿欧違約金條款 ，數值為2億歐，将激並稱皇馬已經在為此做準備了 。帅否饰

《圖片報》稱 ，瓜迪奧拉在遣詞造句掩蓋真相，哈蘭德的違約金條款隻是並不針對於皇馬，而是任何球隊都可以激活。這也是曼城急於與這位新援商談續約合同的原因 ，他們想去掉那個該死的違約金 。
而英媒《郵報》則在深挖哈蘭德的收入 ，聲稱雖然他的薪資與曼城其他頂薪球員基本持平 ，但一係列巨額的基礎獎金 ，讓他每周的收入甚至可以達到85萬鎊 ，預期年收入則可以達到4500萬鎊 。
