拉莫斯與皇馬的西媒薪盼续约續約問題已經困擾了銀河戰艦球迷一個賽季 。期間 ，拉莫两年媒體報道雙方一度有達成一致的斯愿受降苗頭 ，但最終又不了了之。意接眼看6月30日合同到期的皇马日子越來越近 ，拉莫斯的西媒薪盼续约續約問題終於傳來了好消息 。
《ABC》透露，拉莫两年拉莫斯經過仔細思考後 ，斯愿受降認為留在皇馬對於他而言是意接最好的選擇 ，而這也是皇马皇馬隊長的兄弟和父母對他的建議 。在早先接受采訪時 ，拉莫斯的父母就言之鑿鑿 ，相信水爺最終會留在伯納烏 。
而在新合同的條款上 ，拉莫斯接受10%的降薪，同時希望與皇馬簽訂一份兩年期的合約。弗洛倫蒂諾此前曾表示 ：“我愛拉莫斯 ，但我不會為他多支付工資 。”如今水爺既然願意接受降薪 ，那麽困擾雙方的難題也就迎刃而解了 。
