The pro-gun control movement now has its very own celebrities.

James Shaw Jr. and the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. survived hellish nightmare scenarios that we wouldn't wish on anyone. But they all emerged from those separate incidences of gun violence stronger, and fired up to change the world.

On Saturday, the two parties met for the first time. The Parkland students, who together led the charge on March for Our Lives, shared a breakfast with Shaw and they all snapped a bunch of photos together.

It's truly heart-warming to see this group of people, who have individually been through so much, smiling together. But the best back-and-forth of the day goes to the one between Shaw and Parkland's Emma Gonzalez. You might remember a few weeks back when Kanye West tweeted that Gonzalez was his hero, and the young student responded with a nod to Shaw as her hero.

It's was a delicious bit of shade. And now, their Saturday face-to-face serves as a perfect epilogue.
