按照計劃 ，中超最快足协本賽季中超聯賽在本月暫停兩周後，联赛落幕將於10月24日重燃戰火 ，月日全季賽事預計最快於12月27日落幕 。杯铁期間，定跨還計劃將於11月16日至18日進行一輪足協杯32進16的年举比賽。這意味著本賽季足協杯賽將跨年完賽 。中超最快足协
受客觀因素影響，联赛落幕中超聯賽於10月9日進行完第22輪比賽後 ，月日將暫停兩周 ，杯铁並計劃於10月24日重啟，定跨其中率先於10月24日/25日進行的年举將是第19輪補賽 。在隨後的中超最快足协第20輪補賽、第23至25輪相繼進行 ，联赛落幕並於11月13日打完後 。月日聯賽還將暫停數日，這是因為足協杯下一輪正賽（32進16）計劃將於11月16日至18日進行 。
至於中超聯賽第26輪至34輪 ，也就是最後9輪賽事的具體日程安排，賽事主辦方將根據實際情況具體確認 。不過就目前來看 ，中超聯賽仍將全力爭取在今年內打完 。
按照目前計劃 ，本賽季中超聯賽最快將於12月27日落幕 。足協杯餘下各輪次賽事將在中超聯賽落幕後進行 ，意味著杯賽將鐵定跨年完賽 ，預計完賽時間約為明年1月15日 。目前 ，中國足協、中足聯籌備組也在積極聯係相關賽區 。受天氣及其它客觀因素影響 ，足協杯賽事亦有可能集中在個別賽區內進行，賽區也大概率會安排在氣候相對適宜的南方城市 。
